Max Stock Ltd. was founded in 2004 and is engaged in the commercial retail through operation of a nationwide chain of discount stores under the name Max Shopping is Fun and Max 20, with a wide variety of home products at attractive prices.

The chain boasts 50 branches across Israel, from Kiryat Shmona to Eilat, which are mainly operated through subsidiaries, and the rest through franchisees.

The Group imports and sells various categories of products at the chain’s stores, mainly: school supplies, disposable tableware, plasticware and storage containers, toys and art supplies, home decor and gifts, clothing and textile products, baking and kitchenware, tools for home, toiletries and drugstore products, furniture, and more.

There are two main types of stores in the chain:

Large stores under the name “Max – Shopping is Fun” which offer a broad variety of products from all of the categories, and which are mainly located in retail areas with easy car accessibility and convenient parking arrangements. The chain includes 35 large stores most of which are operated through subsidiaries and a second-tier subsidiary, while 8 stores are operated by franchisees.

Small stores under the name “Max 20” which are mainly located in city centers and offer products from most of the chain’s categories (generally smaller products, not furniture), with a selection that is tailored to the customer clientele in in each store’s area, and at affordable prices not exceeding NIS 20 per product (including VAT). The chain includes 15 small stores, which are operated by franchisees, excluding one store which is operated by a second-tier subsidiary.
